  • Summary: The UP video game takes players on an exotic adventure with Carl Fredricksen and his young sidekick, Wilderness Explorer Russell, as they set off on a wild journey through the undiscovered jungles of South America. Players experience all four main characters from the movie - Carl, Russell, Dug the lovable dog or Kevin the prehistoric bird - while playing as a single-player or with a friend cooperatively throughout the entire game. Players encounter exciting, new environments as they navigate through treacherous jungle terrains, battle dangerous creatures and trek the slippery slopes of the Amazonian Tepuis. In addition, the game also features multi-player game modes, including an epic level that will allow up to four players to compete in aerial combat. [THQ] Expand

If you enjoyed Pixar’s brilliant film, Up the game will keep the good times rolling for the younger audience for another few hours. The experience is simple enough to appeal to children and the ease of jumping in and out of cooperative play means that mom or dad can join in or leave as they please.
  2. Some glitches (particularly during the crocodile battle) mar an otherwise satisfying experience, but the designers made up for that with all of the easy achievements and trophies.
  3. A decent effort that is not as bad as some might expect. A longer main quest and sharper graphics would have did this game wonders.

A game that’s meant to be for kids. It’s pretty simple and in a lot of ways really basic. It’s fun to play, watching the Movie is even better.
  5. If you enjoyed the movie, I'd say the game is worth checking out, but beware that it can really aggravate you at certain points. I'm not sure I'd suggest buying it right off the bat; I would definitely go with a rental first.

The game may feel slow because the characters seem weak, but it is a fun family game with a satisfying adventure and decent graphics. It is not as long as you may want it to be though. Expand

Very short and kind of boring. Game doesn't move very smoothly either. Seems kind of thrown together, like it was just a sidekick to the movie. Graphics are unimpressive. Finished it in about three hours. Expand
