90Worms 2: Armageddon is basically the same Worms game that you've been playing for years, with tons of content thrown into the mix.
-
Dec 25, 201087It's still a fantastic game and an absolute riot in multiplayer. [Issue#198, p.103]
-
82All in all, Worms 2: Armageddon can only be recommended to all fans of the franchise. It's great fun and really entertaining, especially the multiplayer mode.
-
Dec 20, 201080Worms 2: Armageddon brings the classic experience that made the franchise so popular to the PlayStation 3. It's in no way a revolutionary title for the series, rather its a retro tribute that still manages to provide an entertaining if somewhat limited experience.
-
If you haven't played a Worms game before then this is definitely the best jumping on point. The game is full of fun for newcomers and includes plenty of content. For those die-hard fans looking to embark on yet another spree of global worm-fare, Worms 2 includes just enough iterations to make it worthwhile.
-
80Worms 2: Armageddon is an excellent multiplayer game, but a so-so singleplayer game.
-
78Worms 2: Armageddon is still a really fun game. If you have some friends or family to play with you, it can be a blast playing locally.
-
Dec 28, 201075Comprehensive? Damn yes. [Christmas 2010, p.90]
-
72Worms is not a bad game, not by a long shot. In fact, it is quite entertaining, especially for new comers to the series. But do I need to spend another $10 or $15 on a Worms game when a previous version is already owned? No, not really.
-
Dec 25, 201070Simple fun from a time when pocking a worm was actually a strategic maneuver. [Issue#51, p.118]
-
70But what you do get - a quick, smart, fun challenge that you can sit down and play with your mates while you're waiting for the pizza to arrive - is definitely not to be sneered at.
-
70Worms 2: Armageddon is not different from the other Worms games. It works very nice and it looks great, but it is a shame that Team 17 didn't create something new.
-
67If you haven't bought a Worms game yet this generation and don't mind dropping $15, Worms 2: Armaggedon won't disappoint.
