It seems that everybody is having a problem with the difficulty of the game but I had no such thing. Yes at times it seemed that getting Solemned three times in a row does ****, but its not because the game is cheating you out, it's because the game has to do it if they draw it. Sometimes it helps me out because they will pay half their life in order to counter something that wouldn't have much board impact. Granted, this game does force you to buy the card packs if you want to have any real fun because the cards are distributed randomly. They should add more tournament styles and offer a DLC to get a playset of everything.
In conclusion, if you know card games and like yugioh, then this game is good for now. If you are looking for a card game but didn't like any of the things I mentioned above, then get Duels of the Planeswalkers.
Lack of card content (They should have Exceed Monsters in here already). Lack of a repayable Campaign. No system in place to stop Multiplay quitters. Lack of rule settings.. Why can't we make duels more interesting? All I have complained about could be fixed with an update or two.
NO COMPRAR.
I would advise against getting **** is hard for no reasons. Most NPCS at least the ones not from the anime are impossibly hard. Every turn you get screwed over where the opponent gets the cards they need. I would just delete this game but then it is a waste of money to me. I wish there was a card shop like in Yu-Gi-Oh! Ultimate Masters world championship tournament 2006, where every match earned you points to which you can use to by booster packs. Why was that removed? Instead we get a random 3 - 6 cards that may help us, or may be a copy we already have. I only suggest getting it if is free other wise just get Millennium Duels. At least there you can practice against Tea for a while and learn what you are doing wrong.
Terrible game, the opponents always seem to have the exact cards they need, which are also far more powerful than anything you possess, making even the simplest of duels essentially non-win-able
Is this game some kind of sick joke? This has to be the absolute worst game I've ever played in my life. The single player campaign has 1 tournament (from what I've been told but have still yet to win). The tournament starts up everytime asking if you want to do the tutorial as if it's your first time playing the game. Then pairs you up against "random" opponents who have exactly the right cards everytime to keep you from winning the tournament. It feels like your playing on insane difficulty, but there isn't an option to decrease the difficulty. The card distribution is totally random which makes you feel like the only way of getting good cards (or a deck that works right) is to buy the dlc packs and decks. How did this game make it through production? The sad thing is that this is a sequal and it feels like a free computer game a 6 year old made. Worst game ever. Even if this game is on sale for $1 don't buy it.
