The definitive LittleBigPlanet game...Yes, the jumping is still floaty, the creation complicated and the load times a bit too long, but that doesn't stop LittleBigPlanet PS Vita from being an amazing experience.

LittleBigPlanet is exactly the type of game that the Vita needs right now. It's equally playable in short bursts or marathon sessions, it uses the Vita's unique controls in ways that feel intuitive, and its creative tools and level sharing provide the potential for almost unlimited replayability.

While LittleBigPlanet has clearly settled into a comfortable groove, it's still one of the best pure platformers on the market. LittleBigPlanet PS Vita is another stellar entry on Sackboy's impressive resume.

The end result is a successful blend of traditional controls and new-wave touch gaming, a title that seamlessly mixes rival input schemes. LittleBigPlanet Vita makes good on the promise Sony made with the Vita when it was revealed.

If this joyous and oh-so-touchable platformer can't save Vita, nothing can. [Dec 2012, p.84]

Running through each level (even multiple times) is a charming, creative, and incredibly rewarding experience, regardless of whether it's to beat your friend's leaderboard score or if you're simply going after every collectible for that satisfying "pop" sound.

LittleBigPlanet is a perfect fit for PlayStation Vita. The new gadgets and the new materials expand all the possibilities already seen in LBP2, in what is probably the best game in the series.

While Media Molecule is no longer directly in charge, the trio of new developers took the LittleBigPlanet spirit and ran with it. You wouldn't even know it was made by a veritable conglomerate of companies. I'll be honest, they should all be commended for making what could be the best LBP yet.

It's just as solid as its console partners, it looks beautiful, and takes advantage of the Vita's controls in unique ways that don't negatively impact the core of the platforming gameplay. It serves as a wonderful reminder that you can never have enough Sackboy in your life.

One of the best games on PlayStation Vita. It expands the possibilities of the previous episodes of the series and makes the most of the hardware. It's a great example of what PS Vita has to show, and proves that LittleBigPlanet won't stop growing. Unmissable if you're a LBP fan, and a game you should definitely try if you're not.

If you've been writing the series' Vita appearance off as a compromise or a contractual obligation, you're in for something of a treat. That 5 inch OLED screen is a chance to see Media Molecule's staggering achievement afresh, and to witness one of this generation's most intriguing engines of creativity at its most energetic and effective.

It might have taken them a few months but Sony has finally found a title to sell their new handheld system. LittleBigPlanet is more than just the best game available for the Vita, it is the best entry in the LBP series to date. It should be mandatory to have this game if you own a Vita!

This is definitely the best PS Vita game so far! The game makes full use of all the motion possibilities that are available. Furthermore, Sackboy proves to be more than just a pretty face. The game contains enough innovative content and is so a lot of fun to play.

Buy LittleBigPlanet and you won't have to nag about the lack of games for the Vita again. It's an ingenious platformer, a collection of arcade games and a huge app store in one. All these elements make a creative and artsy whole, and its beauty is astounding. Even if you don't like what's already there, you can just create what you would enjoy.
  20. It's a slice of gleefully inventive oddness that's certainly sated our appetite for sackboy on handheld – and it's very nearly perfect.

A flawless take on LittleBigPlanet on a system that looks especially well-suited for it. This version is faithful to the core of the LittleBigPlanet experience and manages to improve on other versions thanks to the great control system designed around Vita and novelties like the Memorizer that will add a new dimension to the creative work around this game.

A real killer app for the Vita, with tons of cozy charm. The campaign is great and the game makes good use of the Vita's touch controls. There is a lot of user created material too, thanks to the great level editor.

Charming, diversified and incredibly versatile. Sackboy's Vita adventure adds small, but well working touchscreen improvements to the powerful editor/game.
  30. The smaller screen makes precision work tricky, but touch controls make it quicker. [Dec 2012, p.84]

I have always believed that the vita has been one of the only consoles thats powerful enough to rival the current generation of consoles, and as such games on the vita wouldn't need to be scored as traditional 'portable' titles because the hardware is just as capable as consoles. So far, this hasn't been true, until now. Ive really enjoyed playing games like uncharted golden abyss, but if you compare that game to its ps3 counterparts, you can't help but be just a little disappointed with golden abyss. I've always thought the excuse 'Hey that reviewer gave that game a negative score! He should be reviewing this game in the context of the expectations set by other portable titles' shouldn't hold true for the vita, so THANK YOU little big planet vita for proving this. Not only is little big planet ps vita a great conversion of a console title, it actually improves on the existing formula by adding some seemingly minor changes that definitely benefit the game in big ways. Things like the saveinator that allow you to make games where the players can actually save their progress through your game is a little edition that brings huge possibilities with it, so not only can you make quick arcade like experiences now, but you could make a full fledges rpg game that takes 10 hours or more to complete! The new vita specific touch, tilt, and rear touch functionalities are surprisingly a lot of fun as well, and the ability to take a photo of anything and upload it to your level (Don't worry I haven't seen any penis filled levels yet) is a really fun edition. Oh yea, and unlike the psp lpb this game has online multiplayer, and it works really well, pretty much any level can be played with someone else, well, except for the levels that the creator has specifically made as a single player level. There are a couple of things that could make it better however; it would be nice if you could play miltiplayer with ad-hoc, and wouldn't it be cool if lbp ps vita was able to play the existing games available for the ps3 titles? But this game does way to much good to make those few things even matter. If you have been on the fence about the vita, YOU NEED TO BUY THIS GAME! I really hope an awesome community forms around ithis game, because it definatley deserves it. Its a wonderful game that honestly makes little big planet feel like it was designed with the vita specifically in mind. I'd write more praise for this game, but I need to get creating. In short, this is the reason you bought a vita. Full Review »

This is best game in the LBP series and best Vita game so far. It has all the features from LBP, many new features using Vita capabilities. A some general improvements that are causing editor being even more comfortable. The campain (all new. Not a port) is kind of standart shorter platforming game with puzzle side levels. But the editor is the core of this game. It is fun to just play with it - everybody who likes games like Minecraft should go buy this game immediately. It has so much more possibilities... And in few days we can expect many new great levels online. There are already efw good ones. And the game is just one day online. It will be getting better and better. Full Review »
