Despite the team change, and the new engine and totally new feel, DD Raw is a good game on its own merits, complete with a much more robust gameplay selection and four-person multiplayer options.
  2. Fails in so many areas that the entire experience ends up being one long exercise in frustration.
  3. 80
But if you want a game that's best in short sharp bursts, good fun and mildly relaxing to boot, you could do a lot worse.
  4. Aside from a few drawbacks, this manages to be an entertaining little game that adds enough to the smashy-smashy mix to keep you interested for at least a few hours.
  5. Better control over collisions would have been nice, but the greater track selection and sheer number of additional multiplayer options more than makes up for such an omission.
  6. The graphics are very nice, the sound is average and there may be some problems but the gameplay is quite good.
  7. Raw is exactly what the name implies, raw. The game is confusing, boring and frustrating.
  8. 70
There's some good fun to be had in Destruction Derby Raw, just don't expect it to blow your tires off.
  9. Improved graphics, more cars, and several new modes are among the upgrades that Destruction Derby Raw has to offer.
