Combining tried-and-true platformer elements that make platform games great with an awesome graphics engine and humorous, endearing characters, The Emperor's New Groove guarantees fun for all ages.

Not the best in the genre, and a little sugar-coated, but tight controls and good graphics are what they are, and this game's got them.
  3. While I wouldn't give it to an older gamer, the fairly clever level designs compounded with the puzzles make a good fit for the younger fan.
  4. If you've got the patience it takes to play through seven initially boring levels and acclimate yourself to the game's confining camera work, the final 24 levels represent some of the finest gaming that money can buy. It's pretty, it's funny, and it's pretty funny - the way a Disney game should be.
  5. Blocky graphics, a complete lack of challenges or fun mini-games, and really bad stabs at humor make this game a drag.

A platformer that while doesn't offer anything we haven't seen before has solid and fun gameplay that most platform fans can appreciate.
  7. One sweet and fun "Spyro"-like (game) for PSX owners with a sense of humor.

A pleasant surprise. While not a groundbreaker, or a technical marvel this game did what it set out to do quite well.

It does have 2 things going for it.
1- The gimmick levels are plenty and are mostly fun. Like the turtle races, log going down stream levels and the high speed rail segments at the end. Frog and Rabbit levels aren't so good.
2- Kuzco is an **** like if you were to find a top 10 pieces of **** in gaming kuzco would be #1 no joke. Everything he says is putting somebody down. It's almost gets you down at some points cause you really start hating on the guy.
