The Fun Factor directly corresponds to your level of Potter fandom: The joy of this game comes from experiencing Harry’s universe, not from the repetitive, trite gameplay.
  2. A PlayStation game that will disappoint Potter fans around the world with its bland graphics, blocky characters, lifeless locales, frustrating challenges, and uninspiring gameplay.
  3. Next-gen games notwithstanding, HP's graphics are well below average. The textures are of the absolutely flat, glued-to-the-wall variety, there's tons of pixilation, and everything is generally ugly.

    Poor Harry’s world slows to a coma-inducing craw whenever he’s running, flying or…well, moving. [Feb 2002, p.170]

Pretty enjoyable game for what it is and when it was made. Although, I do have to say, the bank part in the cart can burn lol Not responsivePretty enjoyable game for what it is and when it was made. Although, I do have to say, the bank part in the cart can burn lol Not responsive enough to make the maneuvers. I'd remember having this game as a lad but never finishing it because of that part, so I booted my emulator up, maxed out all graphical and audio improvements and had a good time with it. Would recommend emulating it (long as you own it in some form) because with the improvements you can apply with emulation, the game isn't too much of an eye sore. Full Review »

Controls are horrible, I wish there was strafing and more fluent mouse handling. However minigames like chasing Malfoy and idea of many secret across castle was pretty fun. Full Review »
