The Mega man game's are a combination of mario plat-forming and fused with the shooting of somewhat the Contra series. Very brilliant level design, and nice boss battles, just the same line for all the Mega man games.

This game seemed subpar compared to the incredible Mega Man X4. The music is also not the best I've seen it at, but some tunes are good to hum to. The collecting of 2 different suits of armor, though, is new and is certainly welcome to the series. The game also starts you off with the X4 suit of armor if you play as X. Also, all of these new characters such as Alia and Dynamo seemed to pop out of nowhere, so there was no time for character development. They seem more of a nuisance than an importance. Try your best to listen to the story, cause it's a bit confusing. ANYway, I did enjoy playing this game, partly because I collected all the cool stuff. Any Mega Man fan will no doubt play this game over and over. Collapse

  1. Nothing more than a fun, nostalgic 2D platforming romp that will only appeal to true hard-core fans.

This is 2D action gaming at its best and I'll take this over almost any 3D adventure game or platformer any day of the week.
  3. Solid and consistent. If you loved 4 then you're almost certain to love 5. On the other hand if you've always hated Megaman then move on as this is truly more of the same.
