I fully enjoyed this game (When I lowered the volume) and would say this is a must by for any parent looking for a non-violent, fun, challenging, puzzle game for their children.
  2. More sophisticated players will likely find this 3D platformer to be too repetitive and easy.
  3. Warning: Playing this game with these lovable characters --- will become addicting.
  4. For kids just getting into video games, it's a great place to start. [Nov 2001, p.123]
  5. Fine for its intended audience. Simple gameplay with familiar heroes is enough to keep the little ones occupied for a while. Just don't expect anyone over the age of six to go ga-ga over it.
  6. A deeply unsatisfying experience, although younger players may have some fun just running around as Mike and laughing at his crazy antics.
  7. There's no denying its fun gameplay and flat-out likability. [Dec 2001, p.172]
  8. Older kids and most adults will tire of the gameplay, but young children will think the game is cool with its movie cutscenes and easy controls.
  9. SCEA has pulled this one off by sticking to a formula that works mixed with the greatness of the movie.
  10. Just don't go expecting anything that will last longer than a few days before it gets relegated to that place under your bed where all the other monsters live...
