  • Summary: For the first time ever, RPG fanatics are given the chance to be true game designers. You construct an entire RPG using the massive library of in-game design tools: plot your story path, create an incredibly nasty boss, customize dungeons and maps, even animate your own title screen. When your RPG masterpiece is complete, save it and challenge friends to play through your one-of-a-kind fantasy adventure creation. Expand

  1. While it might not be up to the visual caliber of the current era of RPGs, it is a flexible and resourceful title that can bring forth an experience unlike any other - as long as you're willing to fork over the time commitment.
  2. If you're willing to invest a few weeks...or months...the results are well worth the effort. [Nov 2001, p.46]
  3. If you ever wanted to make your own "Final Fantasy," and you've got enough patience and free time, then you MUST buy this game!
  4. I'm glad it's finally here, and I can't wait to hear about the wild adventures you create!
  5. Although its graphics are dated and its sounds poor MIDI-like compositions, your imagination and your patience are the only limits to what you (and only YOU) can achieve in the game.
  6. What good is a set of tools that frustrates more than it aids creation?
  7. Too difficult for all but the most dedicated creators, and even they may find themselves frustrated by the program's constraints.

Easy tool, good graphics (enough for the PS engine and compared to other RPGs) great music! Better than some other RPGs... Fun to play! specially if you figured out how to make good use of all tools. What else would someone need? You can even make you graphics if you buy a mouse, I believe... but never tried it! Expand

This game is great for anyone smart enough to use it. If you say it sucks, you probably don't have the brains to figure it out.

I've sunk more hours into this one than I care to admit. Though less powerful than most computer-based tools, it's a snap to get into. Anyone who has faced the daunting challenge of creating a game from the ground up can certainly appreciate the ease of game creation (however limited) presented by Agetec here. Expand

I don't know what the hell that guy is smoking, but honestly it is a bit hard 2 navigate. But don't let that deter you. It still is well worthy of a purchase. Once you spend a few hours learning how 2 get stuff running it becomes just as addicting as many great RPGs such as Diablo 2 and the FF series. Collapse

You can make fairly decent games on this thing; but, just a fair warning for those who haven't played it, it is so limited.
