Code Lyoko fans: If you're tragically desperate to play a Code Lyoko game, I suppose you could rent this one, but I wouldn't recommend it. This title just can't overcome its many mechanical problems and the overall experience isn't satisfying.

(I've played it about 3-4 hours now, i see why a lot of people are saying it's formulaic and not that great, however, i think they're exaggerating their opinions a bit)

    Ok you know what

This game is amazing if you're a Code Lyoko fan and this is an excellent example of how to do a very well made licensed game

It's Fully voice acted and I MEAN FULLY

The Animation and frame rate is incredibly consistent and smooth for PSP

It really looks and feels like the show

I guess it's a bit simplistic, but it's got such clear signs of quality? It's been ported to PSP gorgeously (was originally a Wii title)

It has both the English and original French Dub for all the voice acting too?

THE LOAD SCREENS ARE FLUID WITH REALLY NICE ANIMATIONS

WHY DOES THIS SIT AT A 58 ON METACRITIC IT SO CLEARLY DOES NOT DESERVE A SCORE THAT LOW

If i had to complain about one thing so far it's that while the game is fully voice acted, there isn't a lot of Extra stuff that uses it. Like on the School Screen all the character interactions are full voice acted but i've played through 4-5 levels now and while new characters have shown up none of the old ones say anything different. That's kinda sad. Also they apparently couldn't get the rights to the Lyrics for the theme song which is a shame.
