  1. Not to mention that Street Supremacy includes quite possibly the most perplexing and seemingly broken ad-hoc multiplayer mode we've ever seen on the PSP.
  2. Street Supremacy would've done fairly well on consoles six years ago, but for a modern racer, it's barely passable. The lack of any style, substance or polish makes this one you should skip, no matter how much you loved Tokyo Xtreme Racer.
  3. It attempts to do something new, but unfortunately the lackluster driving experience drags the game down.
  4. What promises to be a “race through Tokyo’s traffic-filled streets” is actually a race down a featureless gray highway that can barely manage to put two cars on your screen at once, one of them being your opponent.
  5. It’s not only one of the most bland racing games available but it also manages to take a list of gorgeous cars and an interesting concept and make us wish we were playing a much better game than this one.

Genki's seeming inability or unwillingness to fix the slidey physics even a little bit keeps each game from greatness. Hardcore TXR fans will likely cry foul at that remark, but anyone who wants their virtual racing to at least slightly resemble the feel of real driving will feel the same way.
  7. Street Supremacy may be pretty cool for its strategic twist, but when actually getting behind the wheel is so ponderous and unengaging, then for all you care, those other gangs can just have Tokyo.
  8. Official U.S. Playstation Magazine
The best ice-racing simulator for the PSP. Too bad there's no option for winter tires. [Apr 2006, p.92]

The loading times are annoying, there’s a ridiculous maze of menus to wade through to get to the races, and, when you do hit the road, the controls are poor and the racing system is just bizarre.
  10. With the street racing genre having done to death already, this copycat is a lazy port of the poor Dreamcast racer. If you're looking for a quality title, look elsewhere.
  11. PSM Magazine
While the basics of the story are merely boring, its implementation is downright awful. [Apr 2006, p.88]
  12. If I was sitting in a dentist’s office, had ten minutes to kill, and someone handed me Street Supremacy, I’d be happy to play it; that way I could be numb for the pain of getting a cavity filled.
  13. If you’re looking for some racing action on the go, you can get a much better, less frustrating experience from one of the many other street racing titles available.
  14. If you play Street Supremacy for longer than an hour then you must really be hurting for entertainment. The Team Battle career mode is a cool concept but the poor controls and dismal racing action won’t support it.
  15. The lousy racing also means that the reasonably attractive graphics go to waste, and that the only one of the middling engine sounds you’ll want to hear is your own, cooling down. At least the atrocious techno music is easily silenced.
  16. It isn't finished, so it isn't worth your money.
  17. 25
Holy hell, this game is terrible. At best.
  18. You level up your car in a fashion that's familiar to anyone who enjoys role-playing games, but the route to getting there -- racing the same kinds of contests, over and over again, against cars that are of very similar level to yours -- gets repetitive fast.
  19. A flat tire of a game, with non-compliable controls, non-working gameplay, and a dull pace that indicates racing tractors would've been speedier.
  20. 20
Luckily, after spending some time with Street Supremacy it's easy to see the loser: anybody who buys this game.
  21. Computer Games Magazine
Street Supremacy's visuals are as drab as the gameplay, and they are further marred by technical glitches. [Jun 2006, p.93]
  22. Street Supremacy introduces an interesting concept with the racing gang turf war, but drives it off a cliff with bad handling, little excitement and no fun.

a born classic because compared to nfsu or other fantasy racing games you have to stratasize your acts.
