Mar 4, 2013Jeopardy! for Wii U is a faithful adaptation of the incredibly popular TV quiz show, but that’s about as far as it goes. There's nothing too new or exciting is present to entice strangers to the game, but it is still a thoroughly enjoyable and family-friendly game. While this may not appeal to all gamers out there, anyone who is a fan of the show and wants to try their hand at answering a few questions themselves will definitely get a kick out of this version.

Like its Wheel of Fortune counterpart, the animations are goofy and poorly made, but it's honestly kind of endearing. There are pretty pointless unlockables, but you're not playing this game to be a completionist. You're playing this game because you like watching Jeopardy.
You should see this game the way you'd see a board game version of Jeopardy. Play it with friends (or alone) because you like Jeopardy, and you'll enjoy it.… Full Review »

Almost every element is worse off.
Characters are less customizable.
There are more errors in the game (minigames fail to work properly, audio double-playing or static)
But worst of all, this game has very few new questions. MANY of the questions in this game come right out of the old version.
Lastly, the Wii U has the gamepad, which is used terribly in this instance. It doesn't zoom in properly so even thin fingers hit a couple letters at once. So it works poorly and brings no new functionality to the game.
All and all completely not note worthy. If you really Jeopardy, get a copy of the version for the Wii. It'll be much cheaper and the Wii U is backwards compatible.… Full Review »
