Rabbits messed up everything. Unentertaining and unbalanced minigames, even though with some good ideas here and there, or the game's entertaining elements are quite problematic. But the biggest problem is that the game's authors won't even let you play the minigames themselves.

Rabbids Land is clearly the title that has been developed too quickly, with not enough resources to do justice to the Wii U. With its long animations and some mini-games that should have been more explored, Ubisoft's title lacks the interesting ideas that made the IP so successful in the past. A shame when you know the Rabbids universe could easily make you smile with their crazy jokes.

You'd have to have some pretty unhealthy attachment to these loony hares to get enjoyment out of this one. Because everyone else sees this as what it is: A collection of minigames which are average at best, hamstrung and held together by an overly dry board game concept - alone a torture, with friends just boring. If over the years the Rabbids were one big party for you, this is their get-out dance.

Rabbids Land's dull and repetitive minigames ruin a party already soured by slow pacing and tedious dice rolling.

A dull, horribly limited game that tries to rely on the Rabbids' likeability and fails miserably. [March 2013, p.86]
  6. The other Rabbids mini-game compilations may have been light on longevity, but at least they provided a laugh. Rabbids Land doesn't even manage this.

With Raving Rabbids Land, Ubisoft offers a board game we do not recommend. Some asymmetric gameplay ideas are interesting, but the mini-games are ultimately boring. The pace is slow and the mini-games are 1 Vs. 1 only, which is a shame in a 4 players board game... Forget it.

A few of the mini-games are fun, but none are fantastic. In a game with little style or substance, the only way to win is not to play.

The mini-games are fun and easy to pick up. However, the major problem is that it is trying to enter a niche which Nintendo Land dominates. Without Nintendo Land as a choice, this would be a pretty decent buy, but with Nintendo Land as an option, it would be a waste to buy this when you can get a much better party game packaged with your console. It feels like it's trying to be Mario Party, but it just didn't do well. There's also hardly any Rabbid customization options, like in the past few games. The mini games can take forever to get to, and it's just overall not very fun. It's not as bad as Rabbids Alive & Kicking, but it's not too much better. Full Review »
