It might look childish, but in so many ways this is a Platinum Games experience through and through. Deep and rewarding combat, entertaining characters and plenty of hours of gameplay - even without all the collectables and tougher difficulties. A must-have for every gamer, whether you own a Wii U or not.
Otra joya de Mr Kamiya y de platinum games, es una pena que la gente no sepa apreciar esta obra de arte. Un juego que mezcla la jugabilidad de Bayonetta y Pikmin…
The Wonderful 101 is a masterpiece, with hours of pure action, challenge, fun and madness. The whole adventure is full of charm, detail and an incredible game feel.
The game's main mechanics are incedibly original and really, really fun, easy to learn but hard to master.
The levels are impressive, with a huge amount of different enemies to fight, each of them being it's own unique concept with it's own moveset and moves (some of them can do a LOT of attacks!).
And the boss fights... are just incredible. Every single boss fight from this game is full of crazy action and over the top epicness, with unpredictable bosses that can use different attacks every time you play the battle.
The Wonderful 101 gets better and better as long as you progress, with an excellent character development, orchestrated soundtrack, non-stoping action and a sense of epicness that you can't see in almost any game.
And the hard mode? You'll love it.
Part Bayonetta, part Viewtiful Joe, The Wonderful 101 is a game with a phenomenal, hilarious presentation and plenty of great ideas that is frequently hamstrung by its reliance on some unfortunate design choices.
The Wonderful 101 is a good game, marred by insisting on repeating both enemies, inside jokes and half-baked variations. The combat system works excellent, and is enough to make sure the game thrives.
An inventive game with plenty of potential and some truly original concepts that somehow failed materialize into something that can be fairly described as entertaining.
THE WONDERFUL 101 Is a good game, it's an excellent original game too. The content is very rich, the battle is creative, the system has the depth, it should be seriously evaluated.
Great credit goes to the originality of the game in terms of gameplay mechanics. I also see some enthusiastic reviews from other users.
Unfortunately for me, I got stuck and never completed the game since I could not keep up with the pace of the game. If I give it another go in the future (small chances) I will update the score accordingly.
For now it is a 7.
No es un mal juego y no son malas las mecánicas. No soy objetivo con mi nota ya que es una cuestión personal el hecho de no gustarme. Esperaba el juego con muchas expectativas y este no llegó a cumplirlas.
I really want to like this game, but it just needs to improve the controls. Hopefully they make a Wonderful 102 for Switch and PC.
PROS
Aesthetics and presentation is nice; I absolutely adore the characters.
CONS
The controls are so frustrating. I be better off playing some sort of other action game like Bayonetta, God of War, or/and Devil May Cry.
Bad. Not misunderstood. Just bad. Wonderful art and a great concept **** me into this, but the lack of clear objectives, horrendously unreliable controls, bad mini game after bad mini game and complete lack of communication to the player left me seriously frustrated. What a terrible, terrible game. I deeply regret taking the time to finish this.
SummaryEarth is under attack from an invasion of enormous aliens, and the only thing that can protect the planet is a group of unlikely, yet mighty, heroes with special abilities. Unfortunately, the aliens are too powerful for the heroes to fight individually. They must join forces and work together to defeat their common enemy. These uniquely ...
