  1. Konami has done Wii owners a big favor with this "ReBirth" line of games, with its "Castlevania" title being the best of them all. As long as you don't mind the more straightforward progression and the absence of RPG elements, this is a highly recommended Wiiware download.
  2. Sure the game is a bit predictable at times and there aren't as many modern Castlevania conveniences as some might hope for, but at its core, this is yet another extremely playable and enjoyable 2D Castlevania experience and when it comes right down to it, there could never be too much of that for diehard fans of the series, new or old.
  3. Castlevania: The Adventure Rebirth is a throwback to the 16 bits generation. An old school game with many feelings but lack in innovation. It will satisfy the classical players but at same time It won´t be so attractive for newcomers with the franchise. A enjoyable 2D Castlevania and one of the best games on Wiiware.

Beautiful game with awesome soundtrack. Konami has gone back to the 2D, linear style we all learned to love before SotN, and they've done a stand-up job. A number of new features help to give new life to the series. A must-play for even the most minor fans of Castlevania or of old-school platformers in general. Expand
