  1. Sometimes aping the competition is not a great idea, especially if you don't manage to bring anything new to the table in the process.
  2. Utterly mediocre. [Dec 2007, p.53]
  3. Essentially a poorly executed flat-ground version off "Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam", BMX Challenge provides very little payoff for our excitement. [Oct 2007, p.89]
  4. Our biggest complaint with the PSP game was its lack of difficulty. That's been addressed to an extent in the Wii version of BMX Challenge--the increased dependence on trick points during race events adds some much-needed challenge to the game. Unfortunately, what's still missing is any sense of inspiration, authenticity, or fun in the game's extreme-sports approach.

A terrible racing game, and it's an even worse trick game. You might as well save yourself some cash and just stab yourself in the eye.

This game is not as bad as it has been rated. It is a great alternative for those who like the skateboard game concept, but who are not up for all of the silly maneuvering required. Expand
