The levels are action packed, but it gets too samey too quickly. [Dec 2011, p.64]

Certainly Disney's best video game in a long time – especially for the youngsters, who will enjoy the simple, trial-and-error gameplay and diverse styles, looks and challenges.

Disney Universe is a game that may entertain your young ones, but it will only be a matter of time before they will want to put this one down.

When it differentiates itself Disney Universe comes across well, but the problem is that it just doesn't happen enough. The gameplay is clearly derived from the LEGO titles, while costume presentation comes from LittleBigPlanet, all given a Disney coat of paint.

Disney Universe feels like the result of a Disney executive saying "Those LEGO games sell a lot of copies. We should make one of those too." [Nov 2011, p.86]

This game is amazing!!!! While it is slightly easy first time around it will become harder 2nd time around as you try to find new costumes. This game is amazing!!!! While it is slightly easy first time around it will become harder 2nd time around as you try to find new costumes. The story is that you are a user of a new online game called Disney Universe a game that lets you relive classic Disney moments when an evil hacker named HEX hacks into the game takes over the cast bots and you must stop him. gameplay is clever with all of the worlds focusing on combat, puzzles etc. A real highlight of this game is the co-op: You can work together fairly distributing upgrades and defeating enemies together (YEAH RIGHT!!) or you can try to hinder each other using them as a weapon or throwing them off the edge- Disney lovers of all ages will love this game!!
