It is a bit of a waste of the Wii’s capabilities though, and if you have a DS it may be worth picking up that version as it seems much more suited to a handheld.
It is quite a poor game, mainly due to the longevity though being a budget title – I wasn’t expecting a masterpiece.
George of the Jungle is basic at its best and irritatingly flawed at its worst, relying almost entirely on its license to sell to an audience perhaps unaware of the genre’s past glories.
The 2.5D graphics are quite nice and it captures the character and environment well, but overall we can only really recommend this to parents who want to shut their kids up for five minutes.
A stupid game that's designed to trick parents into picking this up for their young children. Even if you're one such parent buyer, please do not buy this for your kids.
