Talk about a huge disappointment! In case you're wondering what I mean, this game was originally meant to be good. The developers of this game said that this game was going to be one of the few movie games that wouldn't stink! This was in an issue of Nintendo Power. Then, the very next issue, the review came. The developers of this game said that this game was going to be one of the few movie games that wouldn't stink! This was in an issue of Nintendo Power. Then, the very next issue, the review came. This is what they thought of it, "Despite its claims to the contrary, Avatar the Game is exactly what we've come to expect from a movie game. In other words, it's completely mediocre". They gave this game a five out of ten. I however, disagree with them. I think it's far worse! I played this game over at a friend's house, and I thought it totally stunk! We played this game in multiplayer where player two has no choice but to follow the first player, which is very boring. This game is very redundant too. All you do is go through forest until you come across a human base. Then you have to sabotage it. There are also flying stages, but those are just as redundant. The camera angles are what really kill this game however. The angles will cause the death of you more time than not! It's especially bad in multiplayer. Fans of the movie had better stick to the movie because this game totally stinks!!! Expand

the game brings nothing new. not a single bit of it hasn't already been done better. shame, because it was based on such a good movie.

  1. It's not as if there's an intriguing plot to motivate you to soldier through, either. Nothing is explained.

It’s a solid action game, but on the flipside, the storytelling is the pits, the framerate staggers, the co-op two player is sloppy at best…

James Cameron's Avatar: The Game for Wii is mostly a teaser for the movie or an extra for after you’ve seen that movie. It’s not a great game, but doesn’t disappoint either. The atmosphere on Pandora and the rage against the intruders carry this title. If you don’t mind a rather low pace in your game, then you might as well ignore the repetition in the Wii Remote-swinging.
