  1. When everything is said and done, Jett Rocket is one of the best WiiWare, even if it does suffer from a couple of shortcomings. Those who get past the short length of the game will find a great adventure with plenty of variety.
  2. Jett Rocket is a short game, but maybe because hours pass very fast, as it is such a great game.
  3. Jett Rocket is short, yes, but it's one of the best-looking WiiWare games.
  4. This is not Super Mario Galaxy, but Jett Rocket has some cool ideas and an interesting level design. A compelling adventure blessed by a nice graphical engine.
  5. It won't take you long to get through it, but it's a fun, sturdy platformer while it lasts. [Sept 2010, p.90]
  6. The important thing is that it's all rather good fun, right down to the level design, colour palette and even the sound effects.

Adding yet another top game to their resume, Shin'en has crafted a serious treat for the eyes and fingers with Jett Rocket's amazing visuals and intuitive controls.
  8. Despite some nagging issues that we hope to see corrected for the next time around, it's well worth playing as there's nothing else quite like it on WiiWare.
  9. It may not be a memorable 3D platformer, but Jett Rocket succeed in what is, in the end, the main aim for a game: entertain. Quite short and often derivative, this game is nevertheless one of the best titles lately released on WiiWare, mainly thanks to its brilliant level design and the everlasting charm of the 3D platform genre.

All in all Jett Rocket is a pretty standard platformer, with nothing we haven't seen before. But for a WiiWare game this is one of the better titles on the service.
  11. At 1,000 Wii Points ($10), Jett Rocket's price seems a little steep, but it's a worthwhile adventure for anyone who can appreciate a solid platformer.
  12. Probably the best-looking WiiWare game ever, but still a mediocre platforming experience overall.
  13. Lacks the smile to go with the style. [Sept 2010, p.99]
  14. Jett Rocket's mistakes remind us of the N64 days, when developers were feeling their way through Nintendo's brave new 3D world. [Aug 2010, p.99]
  15. It's boring. [Aug 2010, p.76]

The basic mechanics of gameplay is a lot of fun. Too bad the style of the game is so generic. It almost looks like one of those fake videogames they show in movies. Using the jet pack to go around is fun. I found the length to be just right. I rather finish a game before I get bored of it and it kept me interested enough to finish it. It's tough being on a system with Mario Galaxy and other great platformers. Having said that, Jett Rocket is probably a better platformer than anything on 360. Full Review »
