  • Summary: Requiring only one Wii Remote per player, up to four people can break it down at a time, as they follow on-screen choreographed moves set to classic dance tracks, covering a wide variety of musical genres and bringing everyone to the dance floor. Whether it's a group of 15 year-old girls who just want to have fun, a high school reunion dance from the class of '92 needing to pump up the jam, or Generation X who truly believe the groove is in the heart, Just Dance is the ultimate dance game for everyone. The game features more than 30 licensed tracks, ranging from iconic dance hits such as "U Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer to modern day pop with "Hot N Cold (Rock Version)" by Katy Perry. With more songs to be revealed soon, this game will easily be one of the most diverse video game soundtracks ever assembled. [Ubisoft] Expand

  1. Goofy, fun and sometimes ridiculous, Just Dance is a great little game that stops short of being fantastic because of a lack of gameplay options and janky motion-sensing. It’s just not precise enough to appeal to a really competitive gamer, but then again, that’s not audience they’re going for.
  2. The first actual dancing game. The music selection is great, but the movement detection should be a little bit better. It's quite fun with friends, nonetheless. [June 2010]
  3. It's not up to the high standard set by other music games like SingStar and Guitar Hero, but it's good enough to please wannabe dancers.
  4. Just Dance has all the right ideas, but all the wrong mechanics. Below average graphics and a flawed rating system were the difference in this game coming more dud than hit.
  5. As a whole, Just Dance doesn't work out too well. The graphics may be very spartan and the sound may be fine, but the controls and the gameplay just don't cut it.
  6. After a decade of jumping on arrows, shaking maracas, and pointing out grooves onscreen, I think I am finally burned out on dance games. I had hopes that Just Dance might help revive my interest in the genre, but sadly it only made things worse. Just Dance just isn’t that great of a game, period.
  7. I'd call it an accomplishment to play through the entire game without creatively strangling a bystander with a cable just for watching you go through the jumps of self-depreciation that Just Dance asks of you.

Just dance is pretty awesome ! You have have a wide range of songs they you know nearlly all of them. It picks your moves up so accuratley. If you like to loose weight I could tell you it made me loose weight more than the 'Wii fit' because when I came off it and went on the wii fit I lost my weight to my target. Expand

The official reviewers dont understand what this game is all about. You start up the game and you just dance. There's no modern unlocking of things, there are no controls other than holding the wiimote. You just have fun and dance. Very well done for non-gamers and people who just want to dance and not be bothered with anything else. Lots of fun when family gathers around. Expand

Multiplayer this game and you'll have laughs, laughs and guess what? MORE LAUGHS!
The game makes you DANCE, not just step here or there,

The only bad thing in this game is the ausense of level choise and the fact that the game comes with all song unblock! There's no purpose playing singleplayer to unlock things or "fight" with another dancer :(

I play a LOT of games, and there is no denying that in technical terms (graphics, responsiveness, variety) this is pretty poor. On the other hand, it achieves exactly what the Wii is supposed to achieve: getting people off the sofa and engaging with their friends and families through games. Today I had 3 neighbours and 4 kids all dancing and hooting with laughter for about an hour. Priceless. Expand

I better set my self in going to the Disco with my friends and girlfriend rather than playing this. This is a reason why some software developers still don't understand to work with the WII games. In Fact the game doesn't even have a big music list , giving the option to throw it in the antique stuff . Also, the movement aren't readable , well, most of them, so is easy too cheat. Expand

I do the moves in the exactly how the game does it but it is unresponsive to what I do. I never win because the game is so random when it comes to the movements even when I do the moves exactly the way they are shown on screen. Expand
