Overall, despite the sometimes finicky Wiimote controls, Just Dance! is a fantastic dance game for the Wii and one I certainly recommend for all you dance freaks out there or anyone looking for a good work-out game.

Just Dance 2 extends the original's well pitched functionality and style to create another compelling dance experience.

Just Dance 2 is something like Wii Sports: a game that everyone could play with no explaining or training at all. Moreover, it's a incredibly fun experience, and a better product compared to the first one in nearly every aspect.

A solid, fun experience that has taken the fairly basic setup of Just Dance and added a new layer of depth, greater variety and a bigger reason to play with friends through mini-games and the amusing duet mode.

It's far more effective as a fun aerobic workout or a way to get your groove on if you wouldn't step foot "in da club."

If Just Dance was the king of social games, this sequel improves the formula even further. If you want to make a party at your own house right now Just Dance 2 is your best bet to be successful.

With the right crowd and an open mind, Just Dance 2 easily sheds its unjust shovelware label with exuberant neon jazz hands and an unwavering smile.

Just Dance 2 is impossible to play with a furious frown of concentration on your face, and just as impossible to play without a wide grin. It doesn't reduce music and dancing to precision beatmatching or button-pressing: it's about surrendering to the free-spirited, glorious silliness of it.

Break this package out at your next party or family get-together, and you're guaranteed to have a good time.

Excellently choreographed, amusingly varied and much better-presented than the original, Just Dance 2 is refreshingly uncomplicated fun.

Just Dance 2 is the same successful game than the first installment but with more variety in songs, better choreography, and the wiimote works in better ways. But it is still lack in game modes and really simple in some points. A really funny game and one of the most important party games on Wii.

Does it accurately register your dancing? Heck no. Does it provide the impetus to cut loose and just, well, dance? Absolutely-and your party will be the better for it.

The hardcore gamer won't care much for Just Dance 2, but then again this game has been made for casual gamers and they surely will enjoy the swinging gameplay that Just Dance 2 has to offer.
  14. There's nothing sophisticated under the hood but the choreography is great fun and the music selection is brilliant.

More of the same but better. The expanded tracklist means it's worth a look even if you've got the first one. [Issue#56, p.55]

The game is nothing more than it pretends to be. It's about dancing and the music selection is great.

Just Dance 2 is the perfect party game. If you'll play it occasionally with your friends, you'll enjoy it in a great way, but if you are looking for a strong single player experience... well! Just look for something else.

As the Wiimote is the only input the game uses, it's possible to "cheat" and do small moves with the controller instead of actually dancing. Playing that way is no fun, however. But if you embrace the game and dance the night away, there's plenty of colorful fun to be had, and with 40 songs and the option of buying more online, the longevity should be in order too.

Just Dance 2 is exactly like the first game, but with added modes in multiplayer, new music and some flashy looks. The new modes are a bit cheap to be honest, but fans of dancing won't care: it's all about the fun you get while dancing and this is where Just Dance 2 excels.

It's not deep, but excellent music, inspired choreography, and improved visuals make Just Dance 2 a fun multilplayer experience.

A copy of budget-priced Just Dance 2 will ultimately make you a happy-looking tit with enough change in your back pocket to make a cool jingly noise when you're doing some booty shaking.

Random flailing with little hint of rhyme or reason. That's the game and our dancing. [Issue#232, p.93]

As a game it still clearly doesn't work in anything like the way it's supposed to, but as a party game novelty it currently has few equals.

Another triumph! Certainly as good as the original, but nicely developed. It is now better at picking up movement, has more (and better) tunes, is quicker between tunes and adds in competitive partner/duet dancing. If you haven't got JD1 then I'd still pay the extra few quid and get this one first.

The critics will doubtless hate it still, but everyone from my 3 year old daughter to my 35 year old neighbour have been dancing and laughing in my living room for most of the day. Not exactly sophisticated, but very nicely presented and brilliant fun, not to mention a seriously good workout.
