  1. Plenty of people would rather sit on the sofa, thanks, and play a proper videogame with guns, and good for them. But small girls, show-offs and people who are too drunk to care in the first place will have a great time with Just Dance.
  2. It's not up to the high standard set by other music games like SingStar and Guitar Hero, but it's good enough to please wannabe dancers.
  3. In a way, Just Dance is just like an up- and-coming dancer. It's very rough but shows promise, especially when played with friends.
  4. Poor motion controls and wafer-thin gameplay make Just Dance a mediocre entry into the rhythm game genre.
  5. Just Dance has all the right ideas, but all the wrong mechanics. Below average graphics and a flawed rating system were the difference in this game coming more dud than hit.

The first actual dancing game. The music selection is great, but the movement detection should be a little bit better. It's quite fun with friends, nonetheless. [June 2010]

Technically flawed but undeniably fun with the right company (and probably several crates of beer). [Mar 2010, p.66]
  8. Just Dance can be a whole lot of fun for the right audience, and that audience is sure to love it despite its very basic nature. In any event, it's at least worth renting to laugh with (at) your friends.
  9. Just Dance is the sort of game that you should know if you’re going to hate it or not just from taking a moment to examine the box. If the thought of recreating Katy Perry and Kylie Minogue videos in your living room makes you want to bash your head into a wall, then you probably don’t need me to tell you that this game will drive you to act on that desire.

Just Dance is a facilitator, not a game. [Mar 2010, p.87]

I love Just Dance!! At first I thought the sensor was imprecise as well, but when you hold the wimote exactly as it tells you and accurately I love Just Dance!! At first I thought the sensor was imprecise as well, but when you hold the wimote exactly as it tells you and accurately hit the right moves, it detects JUST FINE. Sure I'd like more tracks but I'm sure they had to pay a pretty penny for the popular songs. The figures are hilarious and I don't mind the simple graphics, if I want cool graphics I switch over to my PS3. As a dancer, it was easy to get into the rhythm and I got a real workout! You start sweating within minutes of the game. I can't wait for the next version, or an update with additional tracks. Full Review »

I better set my self in going to the Disco with my friends and girlfriend rather than playing this. This is a reason why some softwareI better set my self in going to the Disco with my friends and girlfriend rather than playing this. This is a reason why some software developers still don't understand to work with the WII games. In Fact the game doesn't even have a big music list , giving the option to throw it in the antique stuff . Also, the movement aren't readable , well, most of them, so is easy too cheat. Full Review »

I'm going to cut to the chase here. Just Dance doesn't work. It's a disgrace to the Wii's casual gamer market, as it is a I'm going to cut to the chase here. Just Dance doesn't work. It's a disgrace to the Wii's casual gamer market, as it is a pitiful substitute to actually playing some albums, getting some friends round and ACTUALLY dancing, not looking like a tool. Sure, there are decent songs on the game, but frankly, for a game aimed at those that haven't picked up a gaming controller at all, or in a long time, it's just a joke. To quote an internet meme, Ubisoft, I am disappoint. Full Review »
