  • Summary: [WiiWare] - (Also known as "Maboshi's Arcade") This unique arcade action title features three games in one, based on three classic shapes: circle, bar and square. There are three game windows on screen at the same time, allowing for three people to play different games simultaneously. But there is a twist – each game impacts the other players. For every player, the goal is the same – score a million points – but the challenge is different, whether you’re bashing enemies in Circle Mode, weaving your way through Bar Mode, or burning through a maze of obstacles in Square Mode. MaBoShi: The Three Shape Arcade also features Mii characters, action replays that you can send to friends via WiiConnect24, and even a Nintendo DS download version for playing on the go. 1. Will the Large Hadron Collider end the world? Probably not. Ignoring MaBoShi on the other hand... that's a totally different story. You must get this. [Dec 2008, p.75]
  2. All you need to know is that if clever and cheap puzzle titles are your thing, you need to be downloading this one. [Nov 2008, p.103]

It's a game design that offers simple controls and challenging gameplay in a presentation that's refreshingly unique. Some parts are more addictive than others, but the whole package makes for a much recommended download on the Wii.
  4. A very strange and unique game. Perhaps it is not one that will keep you glued to the screen for hours at a time, but it really is addictive and will have you coming back often to try and better that elusive high score which you set the day before. With friends around the proposition is even more attractive.

Sound challenging puzzle game, deceptively simple controls with a great physics engine onboard. Comes into own with a couple of mates helping you out! Well worth the moolah. Collapse
