Kart Racing may not be the most original title in the stable of franchises, but it sure is loads of fun, especially with four people. The lack of online does hinder the experience a bit, but if you don't care about taking it to cyber space and enjoy NASCAR even a little, there is a ton of fun to be had with this peculiar title.

After expecting a rush-job cash-in of a Wii racing game, I was pleasantly surprised that the game within NASCAR Kart Racing was a solid and fun me-too Mario Kart clone.
  4. It won’t blow the minds of anyone expecting a true NASCAR or Mario Kart experience. But if you enjoy the latter and want a fun clone of that franchise, NASCAR Kart Racing is one of the best made for Wii.

I'm a huge NASCAR fan so I had high hopes for this one. It's been okay. The gameplay is pretty good. The controls are responsive. And that all about all I can say thats too good. One huge downfall is that there is no talking in the game. All the cutscenes are written words with some mindless jibberish being said in the background. And to top it all off the jibberish is usually in this accent that makes them all sound like straight up hillbillys. Alot of you may say they are all hillbillys. While most of them are, some of them are not. One more downfall is that there are times when you will get hit with 3 or 4 weapons at once. Yes, this does make the game challenging it also makes it annoying for people with short tempers (i..e. me). Other than that, my 4 year old played it and has no problem winning the occasional race.
