If you have more than one friend or family member to play Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 with then there are few excuses not to own it.
  2. n-Revolution Magazine UK

    Hugely entertaining. [Issue#17, p.90]
  3. The graphics are cheery and hilarious, with the Rabbids stealing the show from Rayman. The Wi-Fi Connection function is a nice touch, though it lacks online multiplayer. Invite these Rabbids to your next holiday party.

Easily one of the best minigame compilations on Wii. There's lot of fun to be had here. [Christmas 2007, p.79]

An amusing and little bit different minigamecollection. Gather some friends to play, though - it will be that much more fun. The shooting games are a nice addition for loners. [Jan 2008]
  6. Several dozen unlockable outfits can be mixed and matched at your leisure to create the silliest looking avatar imaginable, and the longer arcade shooters from the first game return as brief alternatives to the more frantic minigames.
  7. Official Nintendo Magazine UK

If you're the sort who prefers single-player adventures though, this isn't the game for you. [Christmas 2007, p.76]
  8. Rabbids provide multiplayer lunacy and joy in a minigame collection that's one of the nicest on Wii at the moment. [Jan 2008, p.46]
  9. Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 does have some great attributes to it, but the hit and miss mini-games and the somewhat lackluster single player experience hamper the overall score.
  10. While I commend the developers at Ubisoft for trying to do new and original things in this sequel - one that comes only a year after its predecessor - it seems that the Rayman Raving Rabbids idea just isn't quite good enough for a real franchise.

A sequel that's good but not great. It's got mini-games that will hook you immediately, a stronger emphasis on group play, and some genuinely hilarious moments. It's also got some bad mini-game mechanics that are recycled throughout the experience that drag it down.
  12. 65
If you intend to play with friends and family, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is a great title to add to your collection. If you intend to go solo, then the experience isn’t so great.
  13. This follow-up collection of minigames isn't nearly as captivating or humorous as its predecessor, but it still has its moments.
  14. Nintendo Power

As funny and clever as the festivities can be, they don't always equate to fun gameplay. [Holiday 2007, p.80]
  15. Despite numerous faults, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is a decent sequel to a fabulous game by Ubisoft.
  16. 63
While Ubisoft has added 50 new minis and colored the experience with unlockable costumes and Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection support (for high score tracking), the core games are less enjoyable than those in the first, which is very disappointing.
  17. Rent it, play it with your friends, and see what you think. I'm not saying you can't have fun with Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 if you're in good company, but you'll probably agree with me in that the mini-games are a little weak.
  18. 60
Ultimately, what we have here is collection of mini games that range from the dull to the sublime with unfortunately slightly more emphasis on the former.
  19. Edge Magazine
    60
All the games, even the good ones, outlast their welcome. [Jan 2008, p.90]
  20. RRR2 has taken all the charm and thoughtful originality of the first game and reduced it to a catatonically simple formula that even the most ardent fan will find hard to enjoy for longer than a few hours.
  21. There's still an argument for considering other mini-game collections with better ratios of good-to-poor games. The ratio in Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 isn't even as good as it was in the first game. And overall the game isn't as entertaining as a rabbit doing a poo on a stage, which should tell you something.

It would be easy to give Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 an easy time simply because it's on the Wii and is a mini-game collection, but when the original game is a far more impressive game, Rabbids 2 has nowhere to hide.
  23. Mini-games are fun, but they often grow too old, too quickly; Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is a clear example of this, but those looking for an easy-going multiplayer game might find some value here.
  24. Not only does Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 cure insomnia, but it improves your social skills as you will need to go out and find friends to replace the ones that don’t want to speak to you again after you force this one them.
  25. 40
The painfully simplistic controls and short nature of the mini-games aren't going to satisfy most players, even those who routinely fire up the Wii to play with friends.

We really enjoyed the original Rayman, but the sequel is even better. It's a really fun party game with the multi-player support.

That's the first that pops to my mind. This one is frankly more PARTY oriented and isn't has fun in single player. I can see how fun it would be playing with many friends, but somewhere, the Rabbids lost their charm. Not a bad game. Just slighty inferior to the first. Most of the mini-games are longuer, the shooting games feels like never ending and the music games are boring because of the song selection. Full Review »
