55It's barebones, it's not going to let you challenge anyone outside of your own physical company and it's hosted by some pretty static and boring anime characters that seem to have no real point or purpose other than to just take up space on the screen -- but it's still chess.
-
Offering no variety and serving as little more than a quick way to play a game of Chess against a computer opponent, Silver Star Chess should be viewed as nothing more than a place holder to give you your Chess fix until a better representation of the game comes along.

55While it would have been nice to have more features, what Silver Star Chess offers is a mediocre chess game. With a $5 price tag, this title is justifiable if you're a fan of chess and want a chess game for the Wii, but if you're a beginner looking to learn the game, this certainly won't get you to start playing.
