WWE '13 comes across as too ambitious for its own good. [Nov 2012, p.84]

WWE '13 is basically the same game Yuke's delivers each and every year on Wii. A few minor changes aren't enough to justify the purchase.

Sometimes the crowd noise randomly turns off in the middle of a match, and sometimes the entrance music of the superstars won't play anywhere from 1 to 10+ matches in a row. Also, multiple times the game has frozen and made me unplug my Wii, and often the characters themselves freeze in the middle of a move and force you to restart the match. The running animation on the entrance of a Royal Rumble is hilariously pathetic as well, it gives me a good laugh every time. But overlooking all these glitches and what not, the game is very enjoyable, I didn't really have any problems with the controls unlike other people I see reviewing this game.

This is the kind of experience you can expect with this game. Full Review »

I was highly anticipating this game as I am a huge Attitude Era fan and I was really excited to see some of the old guys come back in the all new Attitude Era mode, such as Stone Cold, Mankind, and Attitude Era versions of the Rock, Kane, Undertaker, and more. This game was a really good concept, but it fell flat. The game has way too many glitches and bugs to make it good. Also, it is too easy. I can easily get a countout victory on Legend, which is the highest difficulty. This game does have great entrances, great create modes, and a large variety of wrestlers, but it is too glitchy, buggy, and too easy to make it a legitimate video game. Good thing I kept Smackdown vs. Raw 2011. Full Review »
