  1. There really isn’t much here that you haven’t seen before in a digital pool game, but that doesn’t mean this isn’t a fun way to spend a few minutes killing time.
  2. Thanks to easy multiplayer integration, this surprisingly sturdy download is sure to keep you playing long after that.

The weak pseudo-jazz music would embarrass a grot movie director, but apart from that, this is good stuff. [Issue#5, p.120]
  4. This would be a good purchase for anyone with a Live account if it wasn’t for one thing. Price. Bankshot Billiards is 1200 Microsoft Points. That translates into fifteen dollars, more than any other game on the Live Arcade. While Bankshot Billiards is good, it isn’t that good.
  5. Plays an average game of pool while also offering some variable game modes and functional online play.

I'm not saying this graphics wise, but I purely mean accuracy. I have been playing pool for 26 years and play very well, so I can tell you from experience that this game is highly inaccurate to what you will see on a real table. The pockets seem to have some kind of gravitational pull towards them making it much easier to sink balls, as well as scratch of course. Breaking is just a joke and nothing like real life if you did it the same exact way, and English can only be used to less than half of what you would be able to do on a real table. Not sure what other billiard games are out there, but I would highly recommend staying away from this one. If you're trying to learn what the balls do after contact, playing Bankshot Billiards is about the worst thing you can do for your game. Don't waste your money! Full Review »

Great game of pool to be had here especially in mulitplayer online and offline with friends. A testament to how addictive and good this game Great game of pool to be had here especially in mulitplayer online and offline with friends. A testament to how addictive and good this game is the amount of time i have spent playing it when I have 'next gen' 360 games sitting on the shelf. The graphics are good with a perfect birds eye view of the table. The ball physics are superb the only thing you can't do is make the ball jump! Swerve shots backspin and topspin are all easily implemented with the equally excellent if not a touch sensitve control system. Ok a little pricey compared to other XBL Arcade games but if you a fan of pool I think its worth every penny. Full Review »
