  1. There are only two college basketball games available, EA's or 2K's. The latter costs less and plays better, so the choice is pretty clear.
  2. If you haven’t played College Hoops 2K6 on the Playstation 2 or Xbox yet, then the Xbox 360 version will be perfect you. If you already own the current-generation versions, then there probably aren’t enough new things to warrant an additional purchase, especially at $60.
  3. If you held off on Xbox and you dig the college game and atmosphere, this is your best(and only)bet on 360. [Apr 2006, p.81]
  4. College Hoops 2K6 for the Xbox 360 is a late entry that maintains the same great gameplay from its previous versions, but doesn't have enough new features or content to justify the new price of admission.
  5. Save the money and get the original Xbox version.

While it's clear that College Hoops 2K6 is capable of satisfying most sports gamers' thirsts for an NCAA licensed basketball game, we can't find a single reason why anyone should pony up the extra cash for the same game they could own on their recently abandoned Xboxs and PS2s.
  7. Other than some small graphical tweaks, this is an unchanged port that costs a whopping 30 bucks more than the other versions. It's not a bad game by any means, but nor is it a new one.

The people giving this an average of 7 are on DRUGS! The gameplay is smoth, and it is MORE realistic than NBA 2K6. Kobe or whomever isn't taking off just after 1/2 court for crazy dunk! I like the game, and it is worth buying. Expand
