  • Summary: [Downloadable Content] Experience four brand new single-player levels in this additional DLC campaign for F.E.A.R. 2! Coinciding with the events seen in the full game, you will experience the chaos of Alma’s aftermath from an entirely new point of view: that of Replica Soldier 813. Your misission begins with an orbital Powered Armor drop to reinforce your fellow Replica squad… But not everything is as it seems. Supernatural events run wild in the apocalyptic remains of Auburn. Another voice is beckoning you; contradicting orders from Replica command. Find out the answer to this, and many new questions, in the DLC campaign F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn! Expand

  1. Reborn is a solid experience that offers up some genuinely fun FEAR moments, but paying 800 MS Points for a two hour gaming experience is definitely only for the most hardcore FEAR fans.
  2. Reborn is a solid add-on pack, but it's too expensive for what you get.
  3. It's the gaming equivalent of walking from your bedroom to the kitchen, opening a cupboard and eating a sneaky between-meals biscuit. It's totally unnecessary and not entirely satisfying. But it does taste quite nice.
  4. F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn is short and repetitive and feels recycled.

  1. (OK so just to get this clear I played the PC version, not the Xbox version. Metacritic doesnt have the PC version on here though However they are exactly the same thing)
F.E.A.R 2: Project Origin was an OK shooter. It had a good story, good gameplay, good graphics...not anything special but everything in it was good, average, acceptable yada, yada, yada. It just had the unfortunate problem of being the sequel to F.E.A.R which I personally regard as one of the best PC shooters ever made. So here is the F.E.A.R 2 expansion pack DLC titled Reborn in which you play as a Replica Soldier... that's it. There is no clear story, nothing that even shows that it belongs to the F.E.A.R franchise and some pretty awful level design, set pieces and a atrocious length of 31 minutes. You are not given information on what time period it is in, why you are doing it or even what you are doing.
F.E.A.R 2: Reborn is here to make money, it is for no other reason. The package is not exciting, it is not challenging and it has absolutely nothing to do with F.E.A.R. AVOID!!!
