    For those who still haven't had a chance to enjoy the amazing experience of Mass Effect 3, the DLC will integrate well with your experience and enhance an already enjoyable game, but for anyone looking for a reason to dust off their copy of ME3 for Leviathan, the DLC may prove too much trouble for such a brief expansion and not worth the $10 price tag. If you're a hardcore ME fan however, you won't want to miss out on the exciting content revealed about the Mass Effect universe.

    Leviathan is Mass Effect 3 with a touch of X-Files' atmosphere and LA Noire's investigations. What's not broken (or broken, depending on your point of view) hasn't been fixed, and the new narrative and gameplay angles are welcomed and unobtrusive. After a couple of pedestrian post-release offerings, Leviathan feels like a confident return to form, and it boasts one hell of a payoff for Mass Effect's greater narrative.

    Mass Effect 3: Leviathan has some interesting lore for Mass Effect buffs, too bad most of it was already revealed in the Extended Cut DLC. The combination of detective work and action is fun none the less. It doesn't come close to the greatness of ME2's Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC, but it's still worth the price. [Sept 2012]

    A great Story DLC, which I enjoyed every second i played it.
    Note: play the End again after completing the Missions - a new dialog option is     available at the starchild - nothing big but nice… Expand

    I thoroughly enjoyed this DLC. Adding some wonderful new settings and deepening the back story to Mass Effect 3's story. I really liked the twist at the end of the mission, one of the best (non-ending) cutscenes in the series. If I had to say something negative, it would be regarding it's length and lack of challenging combat. It could have been longer, and it could have tried to add something new to the combat. I would highly recommend playing Mass Effect 3 through at least once before playing Leviathan, as it does spoil a few of the main game's ending twists. To be honest the DLC, as a whole, feels like it should have been a part of the Extended cut DLC and a bit out of place in the main narrative.

    But overall, this is a great DLC that is worthy of purchase. But be warned: This is more story based DLC than gameplay based DLC.    … Expand

    Like most DLC for games I usually have the same issue. It's not as interesting as the main game and it isn't long enough to justify for the price. Leviathan starts off great but doesn't lead towards anything epic. It's three missions long and not much happens. That said, I still had fun with it. I say to wait for when it's on sale.… Expand

    This overpriced DLC does not contain enough gameplay to justify the price, and the story does nothing to rectify Mass Effect 3's worst-ever-for-a-game ending. Everything you do in this DLC is made meaningless at the end anyway; why waste your cash?… Expand
