New Rally-X was the mostly-forgotten semi-sequel to Rally-X in the arcade, and it most definitely should have stayed forgotten. Namco: Here's a thought... instead of ransoming every old decrepit arcade title off for $5 a pop, how about bundling 3 or more together for that price, and actually make the download worth it? 1. New Rally-X wasn't a terribly exciting game when it was released in 1981, so it's tough to get worked up about an arcade-perfect version of it 25 years later.
  2. New Rally-X is fun for about ten minutes, but that's all, and for the price that's just not enough.
  3. Just be prepared for a game that screams “I’m simple” (as in “I’m mediocre,” not “I’m elegantly designed”).
