  1. If you've never played Plants vs. Zombies before, then this is - wait for it - a no-brainer. The game is an amazing gigglefest of unbridled fun, overflowing with game modes and replayability.
  2. The simple truth is that Plants vs. Zombies on Xbox Live Arcade is one of the best values on the entire service.

While I'd still point to the touch-enabled iPad edition as the definitive version of the game (thus far), Plants vs. Zombies makes a very impressive transition to Xbox Live Arcade.
  4. At 1,200 Microsoft points ($15), Plants vs. Zombies is a bit more expensive on the Xbox 360 than on the PC, where you can snag it from Steam for a mere $10. If you've never played the game, it is well worth the cost.
  5. Zombies are once again invading our garden in the Xbox Live Arcade version of Plants vs Zombies. And really, it is just as fun as ever and highly recommended to everyone.
  6. If you've never played PVZ before on any platform, then purchasing it is a no-brainer because it's hands down one of the best video games ever made for any platform.
  7. PopCap Games' best game and probably the best ever Tower Defence – and it works just as well as you'd hope on the Xbox 360.

Starts out basic and becomes surprisingly complex. The plants and zombies are charming and funny. Lots of options on how to tackle challenges, many game modes, a lot of depth with zombies and plants, customizable house, grow your own plants, and unlockables.I have spent more hours on this game than any other recent release. A definite must have for xbox live arcade fans. One down fall is no online multiplayer support. That was not a deal breaker for me, but I can see online enthusiast's being turned away by it, however there is so much to do in single player that this game will keep you entertained for hours and hours even with no online. It has that elusive "special something" that gets its hooks in you and convinces you to forego food, sleep, and other essentials just to see what the next level has in store. Even if you've already played through the game on PC or iPhone, the versus multiplayer mode is definitely worth checking out. Expand

The charming theme and simple, yet deep gameplay make it one of those rare games that can appeal just a strongly to the casual gaming crowd as it does the hardcore. Add in it's addictive nature and wealth of bonuses to track down and you have a recipe for some highly enjoyable gameplay.

The great thing about the 360 version of the game is that it comes with more content. Extra mini-games and some extra cooperative and competitive modes add even more value to the experience. The drop in, drop out local co-op make it an excellent choice for some couch co-op with a friend.

With so many different plants at your disposal, each with their own unique abilities, and so many different zombies the game offers a wealth of strategic options. It's up to you to decide how you want to approach the levels and the game tests your ability to think on your feet by constantly throwing something new at you around every turn.

It's a balanced, addictive experience with enough content to keep you coming back. If you've somehow managed to avoid playing it yet, the 360 is another fantastic way to experience one of the best tower defense games out there.
