  1. A sublime pack for Resi veterans with great replay value. Essential. [May 2010, p.120]
  2. The throwback to classic RE featured in the Mansion and Underground sequence is a nice change of pace from the rest of RE5, and while the story revelations aren't earth shattering, there's enough revealed that lore hounds will find something interesting.
  3. Whether you play this via DLC or as part of the forthcoming Gold Edition of Resident Evil 5, it's an essential episode.
  4. Lost in Nightmares is exactly what Resident Evil 5 should have been from the very beginning.
  5. This nightmare is decidedly brief, clocking in at around an hour or so. At the five dollar price point, though, it won't break the bank. If you're hungry for another dose of horror, don't hesitate to check it out.

Even for $5, we expected more creatures to blast, rooms to explore and weapons to fire. Those glaring omissions make Lost in Nightmares a Even for $5, we expected more creatures to blast, rooms to explore and weapons to fire. Those glaring omissions make Lost in Nightmares a good, but not great journey into the world of survival horror. Good luck. The problem with a lot of these reviewers is that they were "expecting" more. For $5, I wasn't expecting much and quite honestly feel I got MORE than my moneys worth. Lost in Nightmares is amazing and if nothing else, serves as a $5 demo showcasing what RE6 could look like. Fix the door entry transition, and this would be a perfect 10. Full Review »

I'm surprised the reviewers are giving this DLC such low scores because in my opinion this is what Resident Evil 5 should've been. I'm surprised the reviewers are giving this DLC such low scores because in my opinion this is what Resident Evil 5 should've been. It's scary, tense, eerie, and a tease of what a true next-gen Resident Evil experience could be with today's technology. I just wish it had zombies, than it'd be perfect. Full Review »
