From the moment the Monday Night Football theme song kicks off, you know you're going to love the new Genkibowl VII DLC for Saint's Row: The Third. It continues the mayhem and utter amazing stupidity of the core game in a short burst of activities and new gear.

The cost of Genkibowl VII isn't worth the quantity of gameplay you get for your money, and the quality of the gameplay isn't good enough to justify committing to a Season Pass at this point. I had a lot of fun with Saints Row: The Third, I expected more out of Professor Genki.

THQ wants you to pay $7.00 for eight missions and a handful of mostly meaningless unlockables. That's just crazy.

  1. Overall I enjoyed this dlc and thought it brought a lot of new things to the game such as activities and vehicles. However there aren't really missions its all side missions or activities. At 560msp for xbox live I feel that its a little overpriced and should be around the 300-350 msp mark. If you are a big fan of the Saints Row series then you won't really mind what price it is and enjoy it. If you aren't that bug of a fan then you could give it a try and know for the future what Volition's dlc are like. Expand

  2. Not horrible but this is just a bunch of side missions and side missions suck. No new vehicles, weapons or anything cool. I would recommend skipping it or only picking it up if you find it on sale. Expand

  3. They didn't even have the decency to make a story out of the few activities featured. Hopefully the next DLC, 'The Trouble with Clones...', won't seem as sloppily slapped together. Expand
