  • Summary: [Xbox Live Arcade] Small Arms is the frantic multiplayer brawling game with the action and precision of an arcade shooter. Up to 4 players can join in the battles across many dynamic and richly detailed levels. Choose from a cast of awesome fighters like cyborg tabby cats, assassin truffle pigs and mutant chimney sweeps. Jump from platform to platform shooting each other to pieces with 360° aim. The side-scrolling action is easy for anyone to pickup, and hard to put down. [Gastronaut Studios] Expand

A fun pick and play action game. Insane enough for the most hardcore of fighting fans and friendly enough for anyone in the family to enjoy. Costing only 800 points, it's a safe bet some good times will be had by all.
  2. With a solid fifty-fifty mix of simple and difficult achievements, and ridiculously addictive multiplayer gameplay, at 800 points Small Arms is one of the best purchases you can make on Xbox Live Arcade.
  3. This isn’t Smash Bros., it’s not taking XBLA’s top spot from Geometry Wars any time soon, and it often gets frustrating thanks to various design flaws. However, it does at least offer a nice distraction with some unique gameplay.
  4. Small Arms looks sharp, sounds great and starts out being fun, but unfortunately doesn’t end up having sustaining gameplay - an issue that’s somewhat offset by the low price tag.

More like Small Value. Maybe if the control was tighter, the gameplay more varied, and the levels more creative, it might be worth the 800 points. It's far closer to a 400-point game as it is now. Expand

Seriously, what type of fighting game does not have a block button. Infact I dont think this game has any defensive moves. Just a mindless button mash. This game is utter crap. Its nothing more than a piss poor smash brothers ripoff sans any of the elements that made smash bros fun. The characters are stupid. The weapons are extremely unbalanced, which in turn makes the characters unbalanced since each one starts with its own unique gun, and much too difficult to pick up. The controls feel sluggish or just completely unresponsive (you will suicide so often it will make you want actually kill yourself). The camera is terrible, get used to not being able to see your character onscreen. The levels are bland. The AI in singleplayer is ridiculously cheap. This is just an all around bad game. Expand
