‘Splosion Man is a game that does things right from beginning to end and even though it may have you cursing up a storm every now and then, it’s a game that you can get a sense of satisfaction from, either playing it for an hour or for five to ten minutes at a time.
A great game for everyone. It's original, funny and fun!!! It will get you frustrated, but the are super fun and challenging that you just keep on playing to the 50th level. Yeah there's 50 levels.
A fantastic multi player game that lets up to 4 people play. Increased difficulty = Increased fun as all four take to the sky in this game, a bargain as well :D
’Splosion Man is without doubt one of the most polished, original, and enjoyable games on Xbox LIVE, a great way for Microsoft to kick off its “Summer of Arcade.” If you enjoy stern, sometimes unforgiving platforming challenges, you simply shouldn't miss it.
With its great visual style, simple mechanics, quality level design, and goofy sense of humor, Twisted Pixel has created a game that makes even its most maddening parts a good time.
If you're looking for a solid Arcade title to pick up then you could do a whole heck of a lot worse than 'Splosion Man. This game is a blast from start to finish and it's even better with friends.
One of the most humourous, fun and awesome games that you can ever buy on XBLA. I've played some frustratingly difficult games from time to time, most of them almost putting me over the edge that leaves me wondering as to why "frustration = fun" is a good idea (not that I hate all frustratingly difficult games, some may have some redeeming qualities, but that is irrelevant to the review). However, this game, while it does have its frustratingly hard moments, is actually fun to play, is highly amusing and is considerate for the lesser-experienced with its Way of the Coward system (if you die one too many times on one level, you are free to skip it if you feel like it). Not only that, but the humour (which is evident with 'Splosion Man himself as well as some of the music. Come on, who doesn't love Donuts?) and the music is top-notch. In short, it's a great game, I highly recommend it, but if you're unsure, then there's always the demo you can try out.
'Splosion Man is yet another original title on the XBLA. It's challenging, humourous and just plain fun to play. It's definitely worth the price. The co-op is just as good as SP.
Splosion man brings a new effect for platform gameplay it is fun and good laugh with mates (sometimes) but it gets very boring after a few levels but it is a good game overall and i liked to play it until it annoyed me and i broke my controller..
‘splosion Man captures the spirit of old school platformers by both being hard and incredibly quirky. Luckily its far more forgiving compared to its older cousins, but sometimes it does feel rather trying and the fact it doesn’t really explore any other environment save for a lab is rather disappointing. But mostly I’ll remember the laughs.
Boum bouum je saute j'explose boum je saute boum j'explose je coure j'explose. Proooooout. Et moi je pète. Bref, encore une misérable merde indé aussi affligeante que consternante.
Summary[Xbox Live Arcade] Fools they were, to tread where knowledge should stay forbidden. For what emerged was not a man - it was Splosion Man. "And all who saw him were 'sploded, for he was the fire and they were but meat." Able to 'splode himself at will, Splosion Man launches his way through levels, an uncontainable force.
