The Secret Of The Unicorn is an extremely successful tie-in to what is a controversial film.

The 2D platforming is clever, the co-op game separates itself from the main game in an interesting way, and the Kinect implementation works well, even if it is just the typical minigame addition. Ubisoft has succeeded in making a fun complement to the upcoming Spielberg film that young fans should appreciate.

It lacks on the visuals side, especially after the other movie tie-ins Ubisoft got us to, but it sports a charismatic cast and solid gameplay. An enjoyable game, recommended to newcomers and fans of the belgian character, children and grown-ups.

It also features an offline co-op mode, where you have to work together to get through some strange and sometimes confusing levels. But the problem with this game is that the story mode is too short and the whole game is far too easy, which is a shame, because it could have been a really good game. Full Review »

Personally, I also liked the whole idea of how you have to use a ball or a banana peel to break enemies with armors or umbrellas. But, it is really easy. I believe if the game got a bit harder towards the end, the game would have been a complete success. But, overall it is not a bad game to try. Full Review »
