  • Summary: One of the most prestigious tournaments in golf, The Ryder Cup, is featured in Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 11. Gamers select a team and square off to try and bring home The Ryder Cup for their squad. The Ryder Cup is one of the last great sporting events to be founded in prestige rather than prize money. Choose from the U.S. or European squad and participate in the various competition formats – foursomes where players hit alternate shots, fourballs and singles which traditionally bring the biennial event to a close with players going head to head. When playing The Ryder Cup mode offline, gamers have the option to swap matches, thus giving you the ultimate control over the outcomes of other matches. [Electronic Arts] Collapse

  1. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 has to be played to be believed.
  2. If you have any interest in golf, you should give Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 a serious look. It's not perfect by any stretch, but it's addictive and fun, and there's plenty to do before you'll get bored with it.

Tiger Woods 11 has it where it counts in that the core golf is much better than it has been in some time. Now I'd just like the rest of the game to catch up.
  4. Toughie, this. Plump for Wii for gameplay but PS3 and 360 if you're into visuals/online. [Aug 2010, p.92]

They have developed tremendous graphics and playing ability only to lose it in technicalities. The previews are all bad........ the putting has become impossible... the putting previews work about four times then quit, on several holes the only clubs you're allowed are twice what you need and you can't really cut down on the percentage of power in this one..... options are hard to locate and worthless in some cases.... very discouraging, in general. 2. I think the so called "official" reviewers need to start taking a step back and start to think a bit more when reviewing sports games that release a new version each year, and only review what is put in front of them as a new game. I myself haven't played a Tiger Woods gold game since the early noughties, and I needed a game I could chill out to following some surgery.
I bought this game and found it to be truly amazing graphically, and the gameplay was slightly difficult but had a decent learning curve which didn't take too long to master. Some nice touches like the focus metre, and the online is fairly slick and a joy to play.
