One of the greatest games I ever played. Great experience. Real adventure, great plot, great involvement. Cool characters. Buy it, play it.

Great graphics, and an engaging story. Fighting was enjoyable. Actually the graphics were really really good, and the story was done incredibly well. This is a must rental and definately worth considering adding to a collection - but I do have to say this - replayability is nil and it is kinda short - otherwise I would have given it a 10.

A truely incredible game. The story is engaging from the start, the graphics set an imaginative atmosphere, the animation and cinematic presentation makes me feel like I'm in a movie. Loved the different elements that it contained. The ending leaves me wishing for a sequal. One of the Best games on the Xbox(which is saying alot)!

One of the greatest games I ever played. I couldn't stop playing. I also replayed the game twice, once with my 9 year old and once with my 6 year old. A game we could all play together.

BG&E is one of the coolest looking and playing games I have ever played. It took me a while to get through it so I don?t know what all the complaints are about. For 20 bucks you can't go wrong.

A slendid cross between Zelda and Metal Gear Solid. Not only does this game look great, but its easy to learn the controls and the story will leave you wanting more.

Great story. Great original characters and plot. A lot of new innovative gameplay elements. Example of what an action/adventure game should be. The only hinderance would be with the frusterating "stealth/sneaking" mode...some minor camera issues. Can't wait for part 2.

It has kind of sloppy controlling.

This is a good game, however, you should rent it because it takes only a MAXIMUM of 7 hours. The game is a lot like Legend of Zelda (the N64 zeldas dunno about the gamecube windwalker because I don't have gamecube) however THERE ARE ONLY 2 or 3 DUNGEONS IN THE WHOLE GAME!!! The game is fun but its not fulfilling because there are no sidequests (you don't need to collect all 88 pearls to win the game [no special endings if you get all 88 pearsls and 55 animals) However, the fighting system is fun and the graphics are nice (the water is realistic) and its not boring. Don't buy the game as its a less than 8 hours game making it a RENT ONLY. Its good but needs to be longer. Perhaps, Beyond Good And Evil 2 will be longer. P.S. Can someone elaborate on why the title was called Beyond Good And Evil because you act as a good person throughout the whole game. Expand

  1. The cartoonish environment, though small, abounds with hidden desirables and fine detail-blaring propaganda, rich reflections and shadows, site-specific music, assorted visual gags-and even minor characters, unlike Paris and Ashton, possess crisp, individual personalities.
  2. Players are made to feel as if they're interacting with real characters in a dynamic world. [Mar 2004, p.97]
  3. Beyond Good & Evil is a gaming masterpiece, blending together light combat, stealth, platform action, puzzle solving and racing to form a compelling gameplay mix, tied together with a terrific story and wrapped up in gorgeous visuals and audio.
