  1. The new dunks and animations look spectacular and really light up your TV screen.
  2. The Legends Tournament alone is reason to own NBA Jam.

"NBA Street" has a better all-around arcade-style game, but if all you care about are big dunks and big points, NBA Jam will deliver you to highlight heaven.
  4. Even with the addition of downloadable content via Live (more than likely roster updates), and some inventive cheat modes that can be acquired such as big heads, big feet and various gameplay enhancing modes, NBA Jam is unlikely to be at the top on anyone's shopping list.
  5. As a stand-alone game, NBA Jam is definitely fun to play, but it lacks the gameplay depth of pretty much every other major basketball title on the market, arcade or otherwise.
  6. The gameplay still remains as rambunctious as ever, but the available modes of play are definitely lacking.
  7. 75
I don't think it has quite enough bells and whistles to dethrone "NBA Street," but if you loved Jam back in the day, you will find a lot to like in this incarnation.

Is relatively one-dimensional and the user can conquer all the moves in less than a few hours, if not minutes. The other detrimental aspect of this game is the AI. Jam tournament is beatable but nearly impossible to get through legends tournament. Full Review »
