83A fantastic action-platformer that, despite a few technical hitches and minor camera problems, delivers well over 10 hours of 3D Pac-Man goodness.

80A fantastic action-platformer that, despite a few technical hitches and minor camera problems, delivers well over ten hours of 3D Pac-Man goodness.
-
Call me crazy but I really loved this game... maybe more than I should, but keep in mind I grew up with this game character.
-
77While it isn't the most innovative platformer out there, it is one of the more enjoyable ones I've played as of late, and the fusion of Pac-Man stuff with regular platforming action is far smoother than I thought it would be.
-
It's a good title for kids. It controls well, the levels are interesting, and the references to Pac Man 25 years ago are respectful.
-
70Nothing can save Pac-Man World 3 from feeling simply average, and that extends to the game's presentation as well. This is not helped by some crippling technical issues, which are highlighted by an unmanageable and nearly-broken camera.

69Blitz Games has to its credit delivered Pac-Man fans a sequel with tight controls and occasionally engaging level designs. There studio has also successfully merged new and old styles, presenting in-game challenges that require you to play nicely emulated original Pac-Man levels.
-
69A platformer, characterized most notably by its fusion of classic Pac-Man moments and generic platforming gameplay.
-
Lack of replay value relegates this game to a rental.
-
63What is new is very good, sadly the new material is in fairly short supply in Pac-Man World 3.
-
The dialogue is actually charming and sometimes clever, but the loose controls found in the main game also plauge the arcade port to a degree, which to me, is the biggest bummer of this outing. [Jan 2006, p.138]

60Just another platformer.
-
A painfully routine affair then, and a missed opportunity to boot.
-
50You only have to see the opening cutscene to realise that Pac-Man World 3 isn't a game for adults. As a children's game it's not bad at all, with some 3D platforming gameplay that treads a familiar path, and plenty of variety to keep things interesting.
-
40Is the game a kid's game? If it is, that's no excuse for such a shoddy piece of work.
-
Mind-numbingly repetitive. [Jan 2006, p.75]
