  • Summary: Challenge professional golfer Tiger Woods to challenging matches in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005. This time, you can modify course dynamics and add longer trees, tighter fairways, undulations to greens, deeper bunkers, and more. The game's EA Sports Game Face features nonproportional bone scaling and texture blending to provide more realistic looks. After creating your own golfer and making a name for yourself, unlock the chance to tee off against some of golf's greatest legends, including Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Ben Hogan. Collapse

I am a changed man after playing this game and I think anybody who hasn't bothered to play golf games before should really give this a try; you'll be surprised, I promise.
  2. Together with a deep career mode, eight new courses (14 total) and, of course, online gameplay, this latest Tiger Woods is as good as it gets. [Oct 2004, p.88]

A polished, yet expected, upgrade to last year's version. It's got some awesome new features that go a really long way -- like GameFace II and TigerProofing -- and there's just ton of other options.
  4. The inclusion of GameFace II, Tour Difficulty mode and Tiger Proofing provides plenty of player customization options that fans of the sport will enjoy. Plus, the inclusion of Tiger Vision allows people who've never picked up a club to feel like a golf pro.
  5. After last year's revolutionary success, this game - like "Madden" - is slowing down with age. [Oct 2004, p.125]
  6. The new features are generally welcomed but don’t change the fact that this is largely the same game you probably spent way too much time with last year.

If, however, you already own one of the previous versions, then the reasons to consider an upgrade are negligible.
