  1. Critical Hour just isn't going to get much playtime from me anymore. It's fine to rent for a weekend, but you're doing yourself better by getting an Xbox 360 and playing "Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter" in wait for "Rainbow Six: Vegas."
  2. The emphasis was put back on "one shot kills", but it is still too easy to run-and-gun with this level of enemy intelligence. Commanding squad mates is cool, but this just doesn't feel like the Rainbow Six we once knew.
  3. It's bound to happen sooner or later. Critical Hour serves up an uninspired gameplay and dull visuals, which had all the signs of a rushed title.
  4. Even at its bargain price, the game is over way too quickly and the online multiplayer brilliance of past Rainbow Six games is a flawed experience in this game.
  5. Critical Hour, despite being the latest game in the series, takes several severe steps backwards in both graphics and audio technology, and the unpredictable enemy AI and target assist put this game more in the action genre than the tactical one.
  6. If you really love Rainbow Six, then rent the game because you'll blow through the game pretty quickly.
  7. Critical Hour is unenjoyable by even the most hardcore fans of the franchise, and should be ignored completely.
  8. It's a rush job, a disservice to the franchise, and its just not a very good game.
  9. Rainbow Six Critical Hour's brief campaign, poor presentation, and broken multiplayer make it almost impossible to recommend, even to longtime fans.
