  1. This is a short, tired, and ineffectual piece of work that is best left forgotten.
  2. It is rushed, cheap looking, repetitive and gets old fast, and for the price it's not worth it.
  3. Couple all these problems and shortcomings with the fact that the game can probably be beaten in less than five hours for even the most inexperienced of gamers and you have a game that should've started out as a budget title.
  4. While the developers of Zathura tried hard to make a solid movie-to-game conversion, when it comes down to brass tacks the game just isn't all that good.

Zathura unfortunately adds to the ever growing list of bad games based on children's films. This is rather sad because I believe given time, a decent budget, and a talented development team, the story of Zathura could make a good game.
  6. 34
The laughable A.I., boring level design, pedestrian graphics, and tattered story make this a game that should be avoided by young and old alike.
  7. Kids have done this all before over and over again in more distinct and sleeker settings. Besides the cool runaway Robot sequences there's nothing that's challenging, innovative or eye-catching about Zathura.
  8. Playing Zathura is like being force-fed Saddam Hussein's skid-marked underpants. And we find that kind of thing really upsetting.
