  • Summary: The Bianco and the Rossi families of Yonkers have been feuding for years - over pizza! Those who prefer a tangy sauce go to Rossi's; those who like their crust thin and crispy go to Bianco's. When young Angela Rossi, armed with a newly minted associates degree in marketing from New York's Fashion Institute, tries to help her father put the Biancos out of business, pizza detente goes out the window.     Sassone's hit-and-miss ethnic comedy is actually a retelling of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, with the Italian neighborhood of South Yonkers, N.Y., standing in for Verona.

    Writer-director Vincent Sassone makes your mouth water with his lovingly photographed images of freshly baked pizza but turns your stomach with extra-cheesy dialogue and an inconsistent narrative.

    Fuggetabout it. Not worth the celluloid its released on. Amateurish attempt at film making.. Idiotic plot,bad directing, and amateruish pseudo italian music-(Sounds like a track produced by an expert in yiddish music, not italian .)… Collapse
