  1. A film that doesn't let go from the very first moment.
  2. It's hardly a must-see laugh riot, but it is a good chuckle, and it does its job well.
  3. It has the potential to be culturally bridging in its way, and that makes looking for Muslim comedy in the Western world worthwhile.

There's little here that's especially cage-rattling or side-splitting. Ultimately, Allah only made these guys mildly likable.

This amusing rather than laugh-out-loud funny project is best suited to smallscreen exposure.

It's obvious that Amer and Usman labor under the burden of making humor at once insider-cool and outsider-friendly. And it's hard to finesse "offensive" from a defensive crouch.

Allah made me funny - not.
