Chasing Amy is funny, but not hilarious. The story is decent. The ending is less than adequate. Joey Lauren Adams is a very annoying actresses, especially when she's yelling, which she does for at least a third of her lines. If they had castChasing Amy is funny, but not hilarious. Good concept, poor execution. The script is sophomoric, Affleck and Lee are dull, the direction is amateurish. That critics could universally pan funnier and more thought-provoking films on human sexuality and relationships such as Good concept, poor execution.
